With the holiday period nearly there most of us are gearing up for a visit from an elderly gentleman dressed in red to bring some festive cheer to our homes. But some may ask why Santa is so jolly as he makes his way around the world on Christmas eve the answer is simple. He knows where all the naughty girls live

"Hi how are you today" and other such opening lines sent when you get in touch with somebody for the first time may be boring and unimaginative, but are at least it's respectful. Surely it's better to receive such a message than one that starts with "Free for a fuck" and the like. I know that this is an adult site and in the end we are all her for one reason, so we can cut to the chase in some ways but isn't it better to show a little respect for others when we first get in touch or maybe I'm just a little old fashioned and think you get further with people if you treat them like you'd like people to treat you

Last week a group of us at work were chatting to a work mate about his impending wedding amidst the banter the oldest member of the group ( a man who is due to retire in a couple of weeks and married over 40 years ) decided to give the young man the wisdom of his years of experience
"On the big day youll be at the front of the church when you hear the organ strike up announcing your brides arrival. On entering the first thing she will see is the aisle stretching down the centre of the church. At the bottom of aisle she sees the alter and standing front of the alter looking very nervous she sees you and those are the three words she will remember for the rest of her life AISLE ALTER YOU"

The past is never dead, and like a zombie from a horror movie no matter how deep you try to bury it or how fast you try to run away from it the past will always rise up and catch up with you in the end. But don't waste your time in anger, regrets, worries and grudges. Life is too short to be unhappy. Just remember if you care about what others think about you then you will always be their slave
