Hello, and thanks for reviewing this brief, but only initial profile. We are two "Life-Partnered" men of over 40-years, being very secure in our committment to each other, but seeking extra "adventure" and new friends in our life. UPDATE: It is with great sadness to report that Vic, my Life Partner of 43-Years went to "The Great I AM," after having endured ten surgeries within a two-year period, one of which also resulted in a two-year battle with Staph infection from the hospital operating room. Then, just when we thought that life was returning to some sense of normalcy, I came home from a couple of medical appointments myself and found Vic on the floor of our Master Bedroom, having suffered a massive stroke caused by atrial fibrillation, which until then was previously unknown to us. As a result of the stroke, upon falling to the floor, he broke two bones in his right ankle which caused him to become bed-ridden. One blessing of which I shall be eternally grateful is the fact that I was able to be with him 24/7 to help throughout his two-month recuperation period at the various hospitals, rehab facility and hospice. Vic tried so hard with every fiber of his being to regain from the stroke, but a huge hematoma developed in his stomach from falling out of bed one day very early one morning during his time spent in the rehab facility, and slowly, one thing led to another, culminating with his demise on the 23rd of May, 2013 at Hospice Of The Comforter, in Altamont Springs, Florida. Not only was Vic the devoted love of my life, but equally my best friend, soul-mate, mentor and teacher. Having attained Bachelor Degrees in Music Education, Philosophy, Theology, and Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Administrative Education, Vic was one of the most humble, caring , spiritual, positive and comedic men anyone would be proud to know; matter of fact, at the age of 71, he was embarking on a new career as a Motivational Speaker and Life Coach. I am so proud to have been blessed to be his Life Partner in this realm and the next. Until we are joined together again, my Beloved, RIP!
